I have 6 years of classroom experience as a third grade teacher. In my time at my school, I have also taught 1st grade science, 6th grade STEM, and 6th grade math. I want to be a tutor to keep busy over the summer and continue my love for educating children. I have tutored over the summer the past two years with a student in 4th grade and a student in 6th grade. For the 4th grader, I helped her increase her math skill to get her ready for the coming school year. With the 6th grader, I worked on his basic Reading/Writing skills and helped him with his summer reading reports.
